2 Years Old - 3 Years Old

  • The Service Experience
Your two-year old loves to discover new things. Our hands-on lessons are fun and engaging, so they can learn about Jesus in bite-sized pieces. Our leaders will play, sing, teach the Bible verse for the month, and help them with activities that will make the Bible story memorable.
  • What to Bring

One of our volunteers will make sure that all your child’s belongings are labeled with their name and stored safely out of reach! You may bring a diaper bag, extra diaper or pull-up and extra clothes. We ask that you hang onto personal toys during the service, but if a comfort toy,  blanket, or sippy cup is needed, let our volunteers know, and we will make an exception! We do provide a snack and water during each service, but you may bring a special snack for your child if you prefer. Please make your child’s leader aware of any allergies or other instructions.

  • Wellness
We care about the health of your child and the other kids too! We ask that all kids who are experiencing a fever of 99 or above, vomiting, or have started taking an antibiotic within the last 24 hours, not come to class on that day. We will check temperatures at check-in.Additionally, we thoroughly clean and disinfect all classroom items on a regular basis.
  • Diapers & Bathroom Breaks
We are happy to change diapers and to help with your child’s potty-training efforts. Keep your child’s leader informed of progress and instructions! We will make every effort to recognize the signals your child may make to let us know a bathroom break is needed. Please let us know if your child has any special needs or considerations. We are happy to help! For the safety of your child, a female volunteer will direct your child to the bathroom, stand outside the door, and help when necessary, with the door open, in view of another leader.
  • Crying doesn’t bother us!
Don’t be alarmed if your child cries at drop-off or pick-up. We understand this is a natural and healthy sign that your child has a bond with you! Kids with different temperaments will react differently to separation, so there is no need to worry if you see other children waving “bye-bye” and going off to play. They may have a different way of soothing than your little one does. Our volunteers recognize that it takes time for some children to feel comfortable in a new environment with new people. They are trained to patiently care for your child. However, if we are unable to console or redirect your child after 10 minutes, we will text you!
